Dangers of Genetically Engineered Foods
I ran across this and wanted to share. I can't help but wonder if this isn't part of the problem with the increase in food allergies.

Have you read Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver or Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan? They are both very eye opening about food and genetically modified foods.
Oh, Becky...you are singing my song here. I cannot begin to tell you how much I am infuriated by this stuff...
Did you watch parts 2 and 3? Very powerful stuff about food and behavior and also what is being served in schools.
No and No.
I haven't read that book yet, but I've had my eye on it. :)
I also haven't had a chance to watch parts 2 or 3 of this video either. I just ran across the first one and wanted to put it down "on paper" so I could come back to it later.
This stuff just scares me. Some days I just want to live in a bubble. :(
Of course these things happen Becky. 1 John 5:19 says, "We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one. Many people place blame on God for the awful things that are happening in the world today but we know that God cannot be tried for such things. Jesus taught us to pray this way, Let Your Kingdom Come, Let your will be done on EARTH as it is in heaven. So we should pray and have hope in a new, perfect world when God sets matters straight. Rev. 11:18 says, "But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth." So we can see here that He will reward those who are imitating Jesus' example and those ruining the earth, he will certainly put an end to them. Personally, I believe children are over medicated. From infancy, children are drugged up with vaccines and everytime they get a sniffle, they are rushed to the doctors for some good ol' anitbiotics. People eat too much fast food and processed food. We are in a sad state. But God says in Phillipians 4:6, "Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let YOUR petitions be made known to God;" Sorry this is so long.
