We adopted Silver from the local animal shelter as a Christmas present for our family. We think he's a Husky/German Sheppard mix. He's 3 months old and the sweetest! So good with the boys!
We've got him in the house right now as he's recovering from his neutering... poor fella. And he's got some sort of cough that the vet said is contagious to our other dogs. So that leaves the boys with a puppy in the house and lots of fun!!!

oh how cute! kennel cough? nothing major...we have 2 yellow labs that we've had since before kids, and the kids just adore the dogs (can't say the same for the other way around). one of my dogs steers clear of the kids, and the other one just puts up with whatever they do to him, he's a good sport, letting matthew sit on his back as if he were his own personal pony! he's also a licker, which makes matthew break out (another allergy!?!)but it's worth it, cause matthew adores him! good luck with silver and good for you going to a shelter! <3
