Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?

I received this in an email from my friend Kim Kim... see if you can get the correct answer:

This is a 5th grade math problem. This is not a trick question. This is a real math problem so the answer is not that a bus has no legs.

There are 7 girls in a bus.

Each girl has 7 backpacks.

In each backpack, there are 7 big cats.

For every big cat there are 7 little cats.

By the way, the bus is parked and the driver is out on a break.

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

Post your answer in the comments section and come back tomorrow for the correct answer! Have fun! :)

In the FAST lane

Today is more of a question for you, my readers... because I'm curious (or maybe even a bit nosy).

Have you ever fasted? How long did you do it? What kind of fast was it (no food, some food, a specific kind of food, etc)? Why did you do it (Spiritual, medical, curiosity, etc?)

Mama Belle just completed a 21-Day Daniel Fast.

Dan. 10:2-3 - Daniel engaged in a partial fast: "In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled."

Crunchy Chicken posted a Fast for the Fourth challenge today. I won't be joining in, but it is an interesting read.

And, I'm hopeful that the kids will be done with their "fast" before tomorrow's festivities.

So, fill me up with some fasting info... :)
