Thankful

Ok, so it's Easter time and I'm writing a "thankful" post. Honestly, what could be more fitting? :)

I am so thankful for the wonderful people I have surrounding me.

Church nursery attendants that insist on taking all three of my boys during worship service so I can actually focus my thoughts for more than 30 seconds.

A neighbor that watches my children so that I can go grocery shopping, attend a funeral, and get a shower - each on different days in the same week.

Another neighbor that mows my front yard not once, but twice, this month because he knows I can't get it done.

An unexpected return trip home from Jeff, albeit a short one.

Friends that call just to check on me and see how I'm holding up.

A mother-in-law that is very supportive and loving.

A church family that knows we're dealing with a lot and keeps the offers flowing for help whenever needed.

I have such a wonderful support system, and so much to be thankful for, but I'm still a little lonely.

I'm thankful I miss my husband. (some wives don't)

Random Fun Stuff

First of all...

I won a free design from Delicious Designs by Trista! What do you think?

In my opinion, she NAILED what I asked for!! I told her I wanted to go with a general theme of "ruling" and I wanted to simplify the look of my blog. I suggested the picture of the little prince and asked for a crooked crown in the signature. I let her do the rest! I love the color scheme and the simplicity! She even came up with the tag line (...house is too clean), which I LOVE!!!

Trista was very professional, timely, and is obviously quite talented! I recommend her if you are looking for a new design for your blog. Tell her I sent ya! :)

Now, for the random fun stuff...

April is my birthday month! Jeff turned 37 this year; I'm 3 years younger, so that makes me 28.

In celebration of my birthday month, I want to get to know YOU better!! I got this idea from MissElaine and I thought is was a fabulous way to get to know my readers. I was shocked to see this blog has 31 public readers! WOW! I started this blog just as a way to keep my family and friends up-to-date with our family. I had no idea the friends I would make out in the blog-o-sphere!
