House Across the Street

This is where the house stood across the street from Jeff's grandparent's house. A preacher and his wife stayed there on the weekends when he preached at a small congregation there in town. As I heard it, they thought about coming out the night of the storm and staying in the house because it had gas heat; if the storm were to knock out the electricity in their home they wouldn't have had heat. Luckily, they got busy with their day and decided not to leave their home!
