White - Unplugged Project

This week's Unplugged Project was White.

Will also had a themed week at school; one day was Crazy Sock Day. We didn't have any "crazy" socks and I wasn't going to go out and buy some, so we made some for him from a pair of white ones.

He used permanent markers to make them all crazy-like. ;)

He asked me to do one while he did the other and I was happy to help. See how happy I was in my self-portrait? LOL!

No longer simply white socks. They're CRaZy!

Cute!

Now for a silly question -- how well did it hold up in the wash? Are permanent markers really permanent?

Excellent! He'll treasure these socks so much more than some storebought ones.

Great idea. I bought white socks months ago to do sock puppets (which I still haven't gotten around to doing) but I like your idea better, looks soooo much easier!!

I love those socks. Those are great. Definetly better than any you would find in a store.

A couple of weeks ago we used fabric markers on a cheap white t-shirt - that was fun too. Maybe we need to make some socks to match! Cute project.
