Just watch out for those power lines! lol The video wouldn't work to the end for me, so I can't tell if you rescued the kite or not.
We once had to do that to rescue a bird that had gotten into the woodstove pipe. We climbed up on the roof, put a long pole like that down the chimney (we also had duct taped a wad of paper towels around the pole for something for the bird to grab onto) and lo and behold, the bird hopped on, took a ride up the chimney, and flew away! LOL It was great.
THe things we do for our kids! Sheesh - what kind of contraption can grab a balloon loike that? :-D
Awesome big sandbox! We have the 3 oldest stuffed around a tiny turtle and needless to say, there is much squabbling about it! I need dh to build one like yours!
